Our new MONTHLY challenge has just been released! Each Design Team member has created their own layout based on this sketch and journalling criteria and you need to follow the above list to see what they came up with.

April Challenge
The theme of this challenge is HOME.
We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "HOME" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and this sketch.
And here is my example...
In place of the photo I added the title and have hidden journalling on the tag behind the title then placed photos where the embellishments are in the sketch!

Am just reading a book by Virginia Ryan on the exact same subject...but her feeling of division is with Oz & Italy...it's a great read, if you can get hold of it...meanwhile, LOVE how you've expressed your feelings on your LO...& those Oz/Greek colours are fab:):):)

ReplyDeleteI can so relate to your dilemma, Irini. I was born in Finland and lived there my childhood until I was 20 and then I moved to Italy where I married and formed my family. I like to think I have two homes and two home countries.

ReplyDeleteI love your interpretation of home. Your journaling match what I am feeling the past few months. Where is home? I grew up in the Philippines, stayed in Singapore for 12 years and now just came to Australia last year to start a new life. :-)

ReplyDeleteBefore moving to our village Dan and I had never lived for more than four year anywhere. Even though I live in Sweden and not in Norway where I was born and raised I feel at home here! But sometimes I ask myself 'where's home?'
When it comes to sports etc I am still very much Norwegian!! I will be cheering on the Norwegian teams all the way!
