(cant get enough of this machine)

THE SHOP

I couldnt keep my promise!.....

I know I promised that I would be back soon....

and that I would fill up my ETSY shop with some cuteness

but

a life ended suddenly and we are all reeling from the shock

and the loss is more now that the funeral is over...

I ask myself one question every day

Why was such a young life taken?

I do not get any answers and I probably never will....

thus my disappearance again!

I found this super cute photo (a little blurry) 

of Christian and thought I have to scrap this!

yet again I have negelected this little ol blog of mine

once again due to family issues

challenge

(thank you Wendy for your patience)

the barabed wire frame and chevron patterns are masks I made with my new little baby

my CAMEO.....up till now I have never owned a die cutting machine

and I had been drooling over Marie Papadopoulos cards which she had made with the Cameo

and when Studio Calico had a offer on the machine I snapped it up

(gift from my mum)

the chevron stirps are also from the cameo

I am in love with this machine it has so many possibilities

So I played with gesso to give some texture

and played with my Dylusions

Breathe was cut with my cameo!!

well the word for this forthnight

SPRING/SUMMER/WINTER/FALL

and I decided to use all the words

you can shoose one or use all like I did

I enjoyed playing with this one

I used embellishments to tell the story of the seasons

 behind the black and white photo of C3

thus the corny title LOL LOL LOL

so my challenge for you today 

is to create a card

using this sketch

Music......

Our two kids are crazy about music

they love all types of music

they have a classical background and 

they need to have music on all the time

as they mature their tastes in music change too

the eldest  (I am sure I am going  to get this wrong)

so I will say she listens to Heavy Metal subgenres

which has also influenced the youngest

and this is their "thing"

brother and sister time

I never judge what they listen to...

my only problem is they crank up the volume to avoid hearing

my sweet voice!!!!!!!

I was told on the weekend I am a nag

I can tell you that shut me up for all of one minute 

I reflected on their words and then 

 I nagged 

to ask why they think this 

hahahahaha 

soooo......

We had such a fantastic response last year 

that we will do it every year!

so in honour of this we will hold challenges all month

Get Creative in July

Well its been a while since I have been able to make a layout for 

Get Creative

I finally got my act together

Get Creative this month is winding down for the summer months

there will only be 2 challenges this month One for layouts and the other for cards

the same will happen in August

this is only temporary as it is summer here in Greece and generally life slows down

We wont be going any where I am  afraid

so hopefully that will mean lots more scrapping!!

Anyway

the problem with my laptop has been solved

basically has to do with the temperature of the machine it self
