Christ the lord is risen..............

there have been more hospital visits for my Mother in law............

which have made it impossible............................

100th post!!

wow I have reached 100 posts........
No I do not have any blog candy for this event.......
but I do have some layouts which need to be posted...
as they are for challenges over at The Studio 101...
here are my take on the march 7th challenge where...
we had to use memorabilia......
i used the printed fortunes from the fortune cookies...
after a family Chinese meal.....














this next one is a take on the march 21st challenge...
where we had to use buttons and bows!!....














These layouts were made just before my MIL fell.....
heart felt thank you for all your well wishes....
She is doing much better.....
She looks terrible.......
We had all sorts of antics with the hospital doctors striking.....
when she had to have her head wound tended to.....
then no one was available to look after her wound.......
as they were on Easter break...............
A comedy of errors................
we have been looking into home help.....
Not going well as this elderly duo do not want any help from outsiders!!....
much to my and G's frustration......

It goes like this........

Do you ever get that feeling of the calm before the storm?....
well that happened to me after a very crafty weekend........
we went to visit my inlaws Sunday afternoon.......................................
As soon as I rang the door bell I knew something was wrong..
It goes like this...................
0130 Sunday morning my mother in law felt unwell and instead of going to bathroom found herself in a pool of vomit in the kitchen with blood gushing from her head.......(note: she does not remember what happened)
We were not informed (note:as she does not like to bother us)
So it was not until 8 hours later ( when we found out)that I managed to coax her to have her head looked at.
The neurologist told us we were very lucky that she is still alive just from the head wound alone she could have hemorrhaged as she is on blood thinning medication for her heart condition.....
She is now under my watchful eye as we are on a 48hr
watch for signs of head trauma........
despite the head CT scan and numerous tests done by the doctors,
they want to play it safe so once again I am camped at my inlaws.
I sort of fell asleep on the floor (the couch was taken up by C3)
I am sleepless but I have a very straight back LOL!!!!
I think we have closed the circle of bad luck comes in threes!
my father in law, my husband and now my mother inlaw
I think it's enough don't you??
At least C3 is on holidays and I have him close to me.......

Studio 101 March 14th Challenge

Well it seems the only way..................................

I made a quick mini for a challenge on the scrapper in Greece blog.........
we had to make a mini accordion album using masking/duct tape whatever you want to call it..............
I chose black of course.................................
and decided to use my favourite products...........
