Doing it Green........

huh???
I finally made a layout for a challenge/blog hop on Sassy Lil Sketches
You had to:

1. "Go Green:" Do a project that is predominantly green in color.

2. "Reduce:" Reduce your stash by creating a project where all the product used are at least one year old (no new stuff).

3. "Reuse:" Do a project with left overs from a previous project.

4. "Recycle:" Do a project with an item that was used for something else first.

Pattern paper so old I cannot remember the designer (oooops)
paper doilies...bought them years ago who would have thought they would be in fashion again!!
I also found some old green felt thickers and added those....

A lot has happenend in a week!
I have fantastic family news but I have to get approval before I can let you in on the joy!!
I have been busy working and as a reward my boss is going to 'promote me' give me more challenging responsibilities and the prospect of teaching next year.....I am thrilled of course the teaching part is scary as I have the patience of a flea around 3 seconds!! just like C3's attention span.

I did find some time last week to craft...
I was inspired by this talented lady and went on to make my own version using ice cream sticks (cause that's what I had on hand )......




























They say "thank you'' because I am part of a birthday card exchange group and I am way behind in my responsibilities they are "thank you for your patience" gifts.....I am trying to catch up before I am kicked off!!

blogger booper!!

We said our I do's on the 1st of march 2003...and I wrote the post yesterday so I do not I understand why blogger has dated it as Sunday 28th of February!!
very weird...
HUGE THANK YOU for all your well wishes for our anniversary...I should have added that I have Pharyngitis so I cannot talk just croak...as you can imagine C3 is in heaven asking me to repeat everything 100 times just so i can croak at him.

On a scrappier note last week I received my mini from Chryssothemi I was paired up with this sweet lady as part of a mini album swap/exchange organised by Lena on the scrapbookers in Greece ning
this is what Chryssothemi sent me.......

This is what I made for her...
The theme was friendship or filia (in Greek)
























































































I gessoed all my chip board pages then spritzed my little heart out with glimmer mist Pumpkin Pie and Indian corn,then started embelling (new word in the English language)LOL lots of bling, rubons, felt and crocheted flowers ,chipboard frames and my new scrap fettish butterflies!

It was a very private affair......
we got married at noon.......
Our guests 9 of them........
drank champagne till 9pm
needless to say it was the perfect day...
even though I was 32 weeks pregnant....
