Here is my take on the sketch

I wanted to document this recent photo of J and C3

This brother and sister duo do not live together!

My stepdaughter is Greek/French and lives in Paris...my son is Greek /Australian and lives in Athens

we speak 3 lanuages in the house...brother and sister communicate in English LOL!!

I am so happy they have finally connected because they have loved each other for years!!

So will you play???

My Scrapbook Nook...Echo Park and a couple of cards!!!

Some of you may not know but I have been dealing

with a recent health issue

which has drained me of energy

and creativity.......my wonderful mother

came to the rescue all the way from Australia

and "gifted" me the April kit

from My Scrapbook Nook

I do not know what to say this is a fabulous kit,

it also helps that the papers are magnificent

I have fallen in love the "for the record"

paper collection from Echo Park.

I was so inspired that so far I have made 3 cards

and one layout (you will see it May 1st)

apart from the bling and the misting in the second card!!!

The Studio

is featuring a mini I made on my little family

It is a mini full of facts such as likes and dislikes of each family member

it is also full of quotes about families and sons and daughters

it is a tribute to my family

I used Websters pages on a

Sfragidomania mini chipboard album

The last challenge for April

Get Creative

the last challenge is to

make a monochromatic layout about yourself!

I have to say the design team found it difficult

I think think they did a fabulous job

I love what hey came up with

why don't you

go and have a look.....

Here is my take on the challenge....

A lot of distressing and misting went into this layout

After placing the photo on a bed of misted and scrunched up paper doilies

I placed various mismatched thickers around the photo

I gessoed over the words and when they dried

misted them in various shades of red.

It is a fabulous way to use up left over letters

try it and try the challenge!!
